  • Manduka

With a brand history spanning 20 years, Manduka creates premium yoga mats, yoga towels, bags, props, and men’s and women’s fitness apparel. Designed by yogis and trusted by teachers worldwide, Manduka’s community includes 4,000+ studios, 900+ yoga ambassadors and over 2 million customers around the globe. Manduka launched project:OM in 2017 to inspire and expand the conversation about how yoga can make an incredible difference in our own lives – and on a larger scale, for the wellbeing of the world.

Project:OM is a movement to bring One More person to the yoga practice in an effort to make the world a better place, one mat at a time. Founded by Manduka in partnership with Susan G. Komen, project:OM aims to inspire and expand the conversation about how yoga can make an incredible difference in our own lives – and on a larger scale, for the wellbeing of the world.

Manduka’s project:OM program for 2018 consists of a series of classes, events and other activities that will take place in thousands of community studios and in public gathering places, complemented by exclusive product collaborations with the goal of raising funds in support of Susan G. Komen’s Bold Goal to reduce the current number of U.S. breast cancer deaths by 50% by 2026.

    • Limited-edition Manduka + David Allen collaboration: Manduka has partnered with mastectomy tattoo artist, David Allen, to create unique artwork for two of their core products – a Yogitoes towel and an eQua yoga mat, which David has designed in his signature floral motif, similar to the floral tattoos he creates to cover mastectomy scars. Both products are now available on Manduka.com and 100% of the net profits of each item sold will benefit Komen (at least $75 for the yogitoes towel and at least $100 for the eQua mat).
    • project:OM Yoga Events: This September, Manduka, in partnership with hundreds of local yoga studios across the country will be hosting in-studio events to support project:OM. These are donation based classes with 100% of all donations benefiting Komen.
    • project:OM Los Angeles Event: In addition to the series of project:OM yoga events taking place across the country, on September 8, Manduka will host a donation-based wellness summit at Loyola Marymount University's Sunken Garden. This will be a day of music, food, art, and of course, yoga.
