As Komen’s longest-standing corporate partner, American Airlines, their employees and customers have supported the fight against breast cancer for more than 33 years. American’s current support of our mission includes raising funds to support seven young investigators funded by Susan G. Komen to conduct research into metastatic and triple negative breast cancer. Funds are raised through the Miles for the Cure program, which offers AAdvantage miles to donors for every dollar donated to Komen at komen.org/American-Airlines. American also hosts the Celebrity Golf and Tennis event, which has brought together dedicated customers, celebrities and generous sponsors for more than 20 years. American also serves as the National Volunteer Sponsor of the Race for the Cure, providing volunteer support and AAdvantage mileage certificates for fundraising and travel purposes to more than 136 events across the country. Bank of America has partnered with and supported Susan G. Komen since 2009. They serve as the National Presenting Sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® and 3-Day® Series. Bank of America supports Komen through its Pink Ribbon Banking Affinity products, which have raised over $7 million to date to help Komen fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and community outreach programs. Employees of Bank of America support Komen across the country by volunteering in their local markets and many executives sit on local Susan G. Komen Board of Directors.
