GOING TO BAT AGAINST BREAST CANCER

Major League Baseball has been a been a Komen supporter since 2003 and has contributed over $2 million dollars in support of Komen’s mission to end breast cancer. Together, Susan G. Komen and Major League Baseball will help ensure all individuals have access to the high-quality breast care they need.  The Mother’s Day Campaign honors mothers, especially those living with a breast cancer diagnosis and remembering those mothers who have passed. The educational campaign expresses the importance of routine screenings and early detection, while also addressing the role mental health plays for those affected by breast cancer. The campaign includes Komen specific Club activations, PR coverage and fan participation while also promoting pink baseball merchandise benefitting Komen.
