Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer

Louisville Slugger has produced and donated pink bats that hundreds of players use during Mother’s Day celebrations. Additionally, Rawlings has produced special-edition pink ribbon baseballs that will be for sale nationwide. Fans may purchase the bats and baseballs online at mlbshop.com and at ballparks across the country. From January 1 - December 31, 2019, $10 from the sale of each pink bat and $1 from each baseball will be donated to Major League Baseball Charities, Inc. in support of the fight against breast cancer. MLB Charities will in turn donate 50 percent of the funds raised to Komen. Additionally, MLB will donate 50 percent of its earned royalties on the sales of specially-designed pink-infused Majestic jerseys and New Era caps to Komen. More information about Major League Baseball’s support for breast cancer programs can be found here.
