Basic FunctionWe are seeking a driven, knowledgeable, creative, paid social marketing specialist to join our Susan G. Komen team. The paid social marketing specialist primarily develops and implements effective paid social campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and various other channels. Additionally, this person will spearhead the creation and implementation of all paid social marketing deliverables, including paid social media planning, audience segmentation, campaign set-up, campaign monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities• Partner with organic social media and digital content leader to develop and execute paid social media campaigns to optimize Komen’s objectives, including awareness, engagement and conversion.• Manage the entire paid social marketing deliverable cycle, including campaign planning, budgeting, creative execution, implementation, daily monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting.• Work closely with creative and external vendors to produce scalable content that converts.• Work closely with various Komen business groups and their respective agencies to align and optimize paid social media efforts for maximum efficiency.• Develop an audience first, data-driven methodologies to increase reach, engagement and conversion.• Familiar with standard digital tactics and channel interactions such as paid media, SEO and web creative for a holistic view of the digital marketing stack.• Ensure all campaigns pace according to budget and goals, including lead volumes, revenue margin, and other related performance metrics.• Own paid social metrics reporting. Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and dashboards, and recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies.• Utilize social platform tools and analytics to create efficiencies and make informed decisions for bidding strategy creative testing and landing page performance.• Maintain an understanding of industry trends and apply relevant insights to paid campaigns.• Understand interplay between organic and paid social media content and role of social media in the overall digital media ecosystem.• Testing is a priority. Consistent and structured testing schedule of audiences, geographical, behavioral and creative.• Evangelize social media best practices.• Oversee social influencer outreach and activations.• Monitor, engage, and respond to constituent communities across all social channels.• Perform other social media duties as required.
Minimum Experience RequiredThe ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Related Field.
3 years Paid Social Media experience.
Experience working with Facebook’s suite of paid media tools and other native social networking paid media solutions.
Strong analytical skills and ability to determine actionable insights from large data sets.
Experience with audience building and data mining.
Ability to extrapolate research and audience segmentation data into strategies and targeting recommendations.
Demonstrable social networking experience and understanding of analytics tools.
Skilled in asset creation tools, such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
Excellent writing and communications skills.
Proactive, collaborative and positive strategic thinker, willing to take smart risks and lead initiatives with confidence and tasks to completion.
Strong organizational and data input skills, attention to detail, creativity and ability to think outside the box.
Experience working with outside vendors.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
