    2019 marks Ford Motor Company’s 25th year in the fight against breast cancer and as a National Series Sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. To date, Ford has dedicated more than $137 million to the cause. Through its fully-immersive Warriors in Pink and GoRide Health program, Ford generates donations, raises awareness through unique media content, and aims to give breast cancer patients and survivors more good days, supporting the Komen mission by connecting with women 365 days a year.

    Warriors in Pink

    Warriors in Pink Apparel:

    Ford Warriors in Pink apparel collection is designed to help raise funds, awareness and the spirit of everyone touched by breast cancer. Designed with the Warrior spirit in mind, Warriors in Pink wear and gear complements the Komen Race for the Cure credo of taking charge, living out loud, harnessing power and standing together. This year, Ford will donate a minimum of $150,000 to Susan G. Komen through this apparel program. 100 percent of all net proceeds from the sale of Warriors in Pink apparel go to one of four breast cancer charities that consumers can select at the time of purchase.     Treatment Assistance:

    Treatment Assistance Program. This program bridges the gap for underserved individuals who are actively undergoing breast cancer treatment. With this program, we aim to help those who are facing financial challenges by providing limited financial assistance, education, and support services to low-income, underinsured or uninsured breast cancer patients throughout the country. 

    Ford GoRide:

    GoRide’s non-emergency medical transportation offers true on-demand service that is especially useful for those in wheelchairs or who have other special needs. All drivers are HIPAA compliant and professionally trained to safely assist passengers. To enable efficiency, GoRide uses Ford’s proprietary dynamic routing technology to automatically dispatch and pool rides achieving a 95 percent on-time rate through the first quarter of 2019, with average wait times of 10-20 minutes, even for wheelchair transport. GoRide also uses data analytics to help payers identify where transportation gaps may exist, so that organizations can better target where services are most needed.
