Why not Me

In May 2014 I had just graduated from college on the 12 th and I was diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma during a routine mammogram. I had a bilateral mastectomy on June 23, 2014. I was in a phychological tail spin of racey thoughts and depression. The love and support that my family, bosses, friends and a merciful God lifted me to a place that kept me at peace. Today I live each moment like my life depends on it, I do my job like my life depends on it and I serve God like my life depends on it…. Because it does! Things do not matter, people do.
