Treatment

I was diagnosed on Dec. 11th, 2013. I had a bilateral mastectomy on Dec. 24th.

It all happened so fast but it was the safest choice for me! I recovered from my surgery with no pain or complications. I was fortunate enough to have an incredible surgeon at Swedish hospital. My surgeon set me up with an awesome oncologist! Really, I have been so fortunate! I began hard core chemo in mid February. Got through chemo pretty much unscathed. Very few complications! I have been so blessed through this entire process. I had a very supportive medical staff as well as a very supportive family! I am thankful for every morning I wake up and for every person involved in my medical care!

Today, I am healthy and very happy! I pray everyday for all others diagnosed to be healthy and happy!
