In August of 2008, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My ex- husband and my daughter both came along for support. Both were convinced that it was a fluke. I knew I had it from the moment I saw the face of the technician that did my mamo. She looked scared. After that everyone who knew looked scared. I never felt scared. I prayed and dug in. I didn’t know but I was about to go on the ride of my life.
