Ingredients

  • 2 slices 100% whole-wheat bread

  • 2 ounces of skinless turkey breast

  • 1 1/2 tablespoon low-fat whipped cream cheese

  • 3 dried apricots (3 halves, sliced in small strips)

  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds

  • 1 tablespoon red onion, chopped

Directions

  • Spread the cream cheese evenly over both slices of bread, and sprinkle with almonds and apricots. Place the turkey on the other slice of bread, and top with red onions. Close the sandwich and serve immediately.
