Using a heavy skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion to the skillet, and saut� until soft (about 3 minutes). Add the apple to the skillet, and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle the curry and cayenne pepper over the pieces of apple and onion, stirring to coat well. Add the cooked rice and chickpeas to the skillet, and continue cooking until the rice and beans become warm.
