  • 4 chicken breast halves (remove the bones and skin)

  • 2 cups chicken broth 

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 

  • 1 can (16 ounces) diced tomatoes 

  • 1 tablespoon Mexican chocolate 

  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter 

  • 1 package (1.25 ounces) chili seasoning mix 



  • Cut the chicken into thin strips. Add the strips to a pan with broth. Bring the broth to a boil and cover. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  • Saut� the onion in oil until tender in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the tomatoes, peanut butter, chocolate, and chili seasoning mix to the onions and oil. Stir well.

  • Pour the broth and chicken into the saut� pan while stirring constantly. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  • Serve with beans, tortillas, rice, and vegetables.
