  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil 

  • 3 garlic cloves , minced

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or 1 pound ground turkey 

  • 16 ounces frozen cut green beans, thawed

  • 1 teaspoon salt 

  • 1/2 cup walnut pieces

  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained



  • In a large skillet, heat the oil and garlic over medium heat, about 30 seconds.

  • Add the beef and green beans; sprinkle with salt. Mix well.

  • Cook 5 minutes or until the beef is well browned, stirring occasionally.

  • Stir in the walnuts; cook 2 minutes more.

  • Serve over hot cooked egg noodles.
