On Friday, September 28, 2012, Honoring the Promise will bring together the heroes of the breast cancer movement for a celebratory evening of inspiration and world-class entertainment. On this special night, we will honor those on the frontlines of the breast cancer fight with special awards of distinction in Medical and Scientific Research, Advocacy, Community, and Global Leadership.

Held in the Eisenhower Theater at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, together we will celebrate the Komen community of survivors and supporters who share in the promise Nancy G. Brinker made to her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, to end breast cancer forever.

Money raised from the 3rd annual Honoring the Promise will continue to support efforts in cutting-edge medical research and community health, including a major project in Southeast D.C. in Wards 7 and 8, communities with the highest breast cancer mortality rates in the region.
