We partner with other breast cancer organizations, professional societies, and academic institutions to support a number of patient-focused meetings and scientific conferences each year.
We recognize the importance of face-to-face interactions for individuals who are navigating a breast cancer journey. That’s why we support patient-focused conferences that give survivors and co-survivors a chance to connect while also hearing from leading researchers about the latest advances in breast cancer care. These conferences help attendees renew their excitement and passion for the cause. And they’re important forums for informing and empowering those affected by breast cancer so that they can be an essential voice in the dialogue and decisions made about their healthcare.
Among the patient-centered conferences we have supported are Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Annual Conference for Women Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer; The Metastatic Breast Cancer Network’s National Conference; the Annual Joining FORCEs Conference on Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer; and the Conference for Young Women (C4YW).
We support scientific conferences that bring together researchers, clinicians and patient advocates to exchange information and ideas. We believe they may stimulate the progress that will one day lead to the end of breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Plus, they offer opportunities to early career investigators and patient advocates for further education and training, and the chance to interact with the best and brightest researchers from around the world. Some of the scientific conferences we have supported include:
