Jason Aldean is an American country music singer who has released six albums and 23 singles since 2005. As the reigning three-time ACM Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year nominee, Aldean recently released his newest album “Old Boots, New Dirt,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 chart. The new album’s lead single, “Burnin’ It Down” topped country radio charts and earned Platinum certification only nine weeks after release, making it the fastest selling single of 2014. In 2004, Aldean lost a dear friend to breast cancer at just 29 years old, and he has dedicated one concert per year since to benefit Susan G. Komen®.
From March 5 to October 24, 2015, Jason Aldean honored breast cancer survivor and her guest at each of his concerts along his 2015 Burn it Down Tour. Susan G. Komen was proud to host this essay submission contest for the winners to attend a Jason Aldean concert in their chosen market, and have a special VIP backstage meet-and-greet experience with Jason.
