The New Kids on the Block and their amazing fans have supported Susan G. Komen for the Cure since 2009, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the fight against breast cancer. This summer, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is proud to be the beneficiary of the sales of ticket packages for the NKOTBSB concert tour through a partnership with Tickets for Charity.
Band member Danny Wood lost his mother Betty to breast cancer 12 years ago, and he started an organization called Remember Betty to keep her memory alive. Today, he and the band remain committed to supporting Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer and we are so grateful for their support.
In addition, NKOTB fans around the world are hosting fundraisers and organizing Race for the Cure and 3-Day for the Cure teams to help the fight against breast cancer and 100% of the donations received by the fans will be used by Komen to help save lives and end breast cancer forever. If you’re interested in getting involved with Team Betty, you can follow them on Twitter to learn more.
Thank you Danny, Donnie, Jon, Jordan and Joe and thank you fans for helping us honor Betty Wood and end breast cancer forever!
