Susan G. Komen for the Cure is proud to be the beneficiary of the PinkTogether™ program. During the month of October, in retail grocery, club and mass merchandise outlets nationwide, General Mills iconic brands will turn the packaging pink in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Komen for the Cure. General Mills is contributing $2.5 million to Komen in conjunction with the PinkTogether program.

In support of this program and with the understanding that one person’s story is another person’s hope, General Mills proudly hosts www.PinkTogether.com. This online community encourages those touched by breast cancer to share their stories of hope and inspiration.
 

New in 2011, Pink Together will allow consumers to help choose where how $1 million dollars of their $2 million dollar donation will be divided! The two programs consumers will vote between are Komen’s Treatment Assistance Program or towards Prevention Research. You can learn more at www.pinktogether.com about both options.
