Komen News: 2003 Education Outreach Honor Roll

THE EDUCATION OUTREACH HONOR ROLL

The Komen Foundation's Sixth Annual Mission Conference
Delivering the Promise - Monday, June 9, 2003

The 2003 Education Outreach Honor Roll is a new Affiliate Award program that recognizes Komen Affiliates who delivered extraordinary educational programs to their service area. The Honor Roll was established to showcase educational programs that effectively influenced public understanding of breast health and breast cancer.

Each nominated program is rated on the following criteria: originality; impact on the community; measurable results; resources used in implementation. Up to four Affiliates are chosen each year for the Honor Roll based upon the merit of their educational programs.

2003 Recipients
Through a thorough review and rating procedure, the top four rated programs were identified as this year's Education Outreach Honor Roll inductees.
