3 cups fresh or frozen cherries
2 tablespoons butter, or substitute
1/4 cup white flour
1/2 cup plain oatmeal
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For fruit preparation, pit and wash the cherries and place in an 8" cake pan.
Set the oven to 325 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Spread the mixture as evenly as possible over the cherries in the pan and bake for 30 minutes.
