Susan G. Komen® and Major League Baseball are once again Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer!
The fifth annual Honorary Bat Girl contest is under way, encouraging fans to share “Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer” stories for a chance to be honored on-field during Mother’s Day celebrations around MLB. Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer will help raise awareness about breast cancer while also raising funds for Komen. The nomination site is open now through April 22, 2013. One person will be chosen for each MLB team and announced the week of May 6, 2013.
