 Komen for the Cure welcomes Anchor Bay Entertainment to our family of corporate partners. From October 1, 2009 through October 31, 2010, Anchor Bay Entertainment will sell popular DVD titles in special pink ribbon packaging in retail stores nationwide. The DVDs will be sold at a suggested retail price of $9.99 and feature fitness DVDs by renowned trainer Leslie Sanstone and Dancing with the Stars® Champion and country music superstar Julianne Hough. Anchor Bay Entertainment will donate $1.00 to Komen for the Cure for each video sold, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $100,000. Studies show that regular exercise may decrease a woman’s chances of developing breast cancer, so we are pleased to have the support of Anchor Bay Entertainment through the sales of these DVDs.
