 Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the beneficiary of Specialized’s special line of bike equipment, gear and accessories. Products will be sold at authorized Specialized retailers and at www.specialized.com from May 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010. Specialized has donated to Komen for the Cure at least $30 in connection with each selected bike and at least $1.80 in connection with each selected gear and accessory, with a guaranteed donation of $200,000.
From May 1, 2009 to August 31, 2010 Specialized will conduct in-store, Test Ride events at designated retailers. For each customer who test rides certain bikes, Specialized will donate a minimum of $1.00 per test ride with a minimum guaranteed donation of $50,000.
In addition from August 1, 2009 to November 1, 2010 Specialized has donated to Komen for the Cure $.20 in connection with each pink ribbon portable sports water bottle with a minimum guaranteed donation of $25,000.
