 Screening- planned tests performed for those who do not display symptoms of breast cancer e.g. regular clinical breast exam, screening mammogram

 Diagnostics- tests performed for those who display symptoms of breast cancer e.g. diagnostic mammogram, diagnostic ultrasound, biopsy, surgery

 Survivor- individuals who have completed breast cancer treatment
