Breast Cancer didn’t take over my life…..

It’s amazing how in a blink of an eye your life can change forever, that was my story June 26, 2015 receiving that call stating “You have Cancer” were the 3 worst words I’ve ever heard. My first reaction was, are you sure? Then it suddenly it hit me OMG I have Cancer, Why me??? I’m gonna die so young, Why me??? As I cried like a baby. I won’t lie I cried for the entire weekend, breaking the news to my family was the hardest thing, especially telling my Mother who means the world to me.

After my fair share of crying I thought about it, and said to myself “Frances you have 2 options, either you let this get the best of you OR YOU FIGHT with FAITH & HOPE. This is what I did, I prayed and kept my faith that this wouldn’t be the end for me. I’ve been through hell and back with my personal life, and now that I’m starting to get all in order CANCER will not take over me. August 26 I had a lumpectomy and 2 days later I got the call indicating my Dr had removed all the Cancer. I am now waiting to see a Radiation Oncologist to see if I need to get radiation but whatever the treatment is I know I got this!!! I don’t know what the future holds BUT I am a survivor!!!
